Assembly

Today MR Class hosted the whole school Assembly. Our hosts did an absolutely fantastic job. Miss Rowe was so proud of them! Well done to Jordan who got given a certificate for being a great helper, friend and role model.

Helping Nepal

Today MR Class did what they could to support Nepal. Nepal had a terrible earthquake and we wanted to do what we could to help out. The student council arranged the school to bring in some coins to make a coin trail up Mt Everest. We went as a class to put our coins on. We hope this helps Nepal.

I loved the big blue mat because it is soft and you get to jump off it and land onto another mat.I have been practising walking on the beam. It was fun. My favourite part is the air mat. Marae Trip

Yesterday MR Class went on a trip to Takapuwahia Marae in Elsdon. This was such a great experience because we got to see all the different parts of the Marae that we had been learning about.

We also got to see how a powhiri works on a Marae and got to experience lots of different activities. We had children from Aotea College come and do many activities with us.

Check out some of the activities that we participated in. I wonder if you can think of two things that you learned while at the Marae.

We also got to sing waiata, say our mihimihi and have a go at practising poi.
