Week 8- It's Easter time!!

Easter has come around so quickly. We have had another busy and exciting week in MR.

On Tuesday we had a police car come to our school. We all got to sit in the police car while it made heaps of loud noises! Then we did some fantastic writing about our experience :)

We also had our athletics day. Lots of people in our class got 1st, 2nd and 3rd in events! Everyone participated and we had a great day in the sun. 

To finish off the week we made Easter baskets to take home. Miss Rowe filled them with yummy treats for us. Happy Easter everybody! 

Week 7- Time flies when you are having fun!

It has been another very busy week in MR. Our athletics date is now Wednesday 27th March. This means we have more time to practice! We have some top athletes in our class.

In MR we share news everyday. Our news is always so exciting. Check out the photo to see what some people bought to school today!

We finished the week off by having some singing and a School Assembly. Caitlin received the Discovery School Award for her fantastic reading in class time!

WHAT A WEEK !!

MR has been so busy this week and we have been working very hard. 
We read a story called the Rainbow Fish and made some really cool art work to display on our wall in the classroom. We have some fantastic artists! 

We have also worked really hard on our Maori this week. We are learning how to say the days and months in Maori. We have also been learning about the weather and joining in in Kapa Haka. Not to mention our new Waiata that we sing each morning! 

This week we have Athletics coming up so we will be getting ready for that on Monday and Tuesday. Remember to support your house by wearing your house colour!
